Mildred G. Fowler

Mildred G. Fowler, 81, of Harrisville, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at home. Born January 20, 1935, to Hector and Geneva (Little) McLaren in Flint, she was raised there and in Harrisville. On June 20, 1953, she married Milford Fowler in Killmaster. A devoted homemaker, Millie loved gardening, working in her flower beds, and enjoyed her time as a Senior Companion. She was a member of the Ossineke Eagles Aerie 3762. She is survived by four children, Lorraine Morandy of Alpena; Roberta (William) Faitel of Marysville; Milford H. (Shiela) Fowler of Harrisville; and Delphine (Thomas) Chase of South Carolina, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one sister, Ruth (Charles) Champagne of Harrisville. She was preceded in death by her husband in February 1985, and two sisters, Margaret Root, and Hester Laird. There will be a memorial service Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Ev.
