Brian E. Range, 63, of Spruce, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at his home. Born July 27, 1952 to Arthur C. and Clara E. (Griggs) Range in Detroit, MI, he was raised in Garden City, and Macomb, MI. Brian served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a machinist, and later owned and operated his own company, Range Centerless Grinding. He was an avid shooter, and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the Alpena Sportsman Club, and of the IDPA. He is survived by his daughter Amy Black (Kody McMasters) of Harrisville; granddaughter, Kaylee McMasters; companion, Elizabeth Fowler; three sisters, Cynthia (Tim) Deneau, Diana (Mike) Kennedy, and Donna (Randy) Mccrite; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be a memorial service and luncheon on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, beginning at 2:00 PM.
