D. Lucille Odell

Donna Lucille Odell, 78, of Mikado, passed away Sunday. January 10, 2016 at her home. Born July 31, 1937, to Austin and Olive (Procunier) Emerson in Mikado, she has been a lifelong resident of the area. On November 26, 1955, she married Marlin Odell in Lincoln. Lucille was a devoted wife and homemaker, and a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado. She is survived by her husband, Marlin, two sons, Wayne (Deborah) Odell, of Mikado, and Randy (Jackie) Odell of Gaylord, four grandchildren, Shawn and William Odell, Ashely Leask, and Tiffany Schaefer, six great grandchildren, Taylor and Melayne Odell, Carson Leask, Lilyona Moore, and Conner and Ava Schaefer, two sisters, Vivian Thum of Mikado, and Geraldine Lowery of Fredericksburg VA, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marsha Odell on January 11, 2010. Mrs. Odell is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Wednesday, January 13, from 2:00 until 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 14, at Calvary Baptist Church in Mikado, from 11:00 AM until the funeral at 12:00 PM. Rev. Tim Steiner and Rev. Larry Richmond will officiate.
