Heidi Marie Riggs

Heidi Marie Riggs, 43, of Harrisville, passed away Sunday April 5, 2009 at her home. Born May 13, 1965 in Alpena, to Forrest and Barbara (Rasmussen) Gauthier, she was raised in Spruce. Heidi loved to read, and especially liked poetry. She enjoyed walking on the beach and collecting rocks. Heidi loved animals, and worked at the Alcona Humane Society. Heidi is survived by her three children; Benjamin (Rachel) Lobaugh of Vassar, Jacob Riggs, and Hannah Riggs of Harrisville, one grandson; Julian, four sisters; Cheryl (Randy) Laube of Mikado, Rebecca (Andrew) Aube of Ossineke, Billie (Tom) Keerl of Harrisville, Elizabeth (David) Richardson of Spruce, six brothers; Munroe (Sharon) Gauthier of Alpena, Solomon (Fran) Gauthier of Durango CO, David (Bonnie) Gauthier of Spruce, Jody (Vicki) Gauthier of White Lake, Brian (Margaret) Gauthier of Lachine, Randy (Brenda) Gauthier of Cadillac, sister in law; Gale Gauthier, as well as many nieces and nephews, and two great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother; Forrest Gauthier. Heidi is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln where visitation will take place on Thursday, April 9 from 2 until 9pm. Visitation continues on Friday, April 10 from 11 am until the Funeral Service at 1:00pm. Rev. Tom Welscott will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
