Barbara Klein-Wesolowski

July 20, 1934 — December 1, 2015

Barbara Klein-Wesolowski, 81, of Freeland, formerly of Lincoln, received her well ironed angel wings on December 1, 2015, surrounded by family. Born July 20, 1934 to Robert and Amelia (Mondeau) Hastings in Alcona County, MI, she was a lifelong resident of the area. She graduated from Oscoda High School, and was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville. Barbara was known as the “lunch lady” at Alcona High School, where she worked as the cashier from 1972 until 1987. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank S. Klein and John “Jake” Wesolowski. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Dave) Kaiser of Freeland, MI, her son, Frank (Lois) Klein of Oscoda, MI, her stepson, Ken Wesolowski of Washington, MI, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her brother, Joe (Linda) Hastings of Black River, MI. Mrs. Klein-Wesolowski is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Sunday, December 6, 2015, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM with a Parish Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday, December 7, 2015 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Rev. Robert Bissot will officiate.
