Arthur J. Bossert

Arthur J. Bossert, 70, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home. Born December 6, 1944, to Harold and Genevieve (Casper) Bossert in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was raised in Detroit. On January 31, 1970, he married Mary Martin, they were residents of Garden City, moving to Mio in 1984. Arthur was a truck driver for Yellow Freight, retiring in 1998, after 30 years with the company. He moved to Lincoln a few years later. He is survived by his wife, Mary, son, Arthur (Tonya) Bossert of Lansing, five grandchildren, Amanda (Gerald Wagler) Bossert, Bryan (Megan Brittain) Bossert, Michael Bossert, Mariah Smutek, and Cody (Tabitha) Ortiz, three great grandchildren, Adrihanna Wagler, Scooter Bossert, and Vanessa Smutek, and sister-in-law, Joan Martin, and brother-in-law, Lloyd Martin. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Bossert, and brother-in-law, David Martin. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
