Lon Enos Wessels

Lon E. Wessels,72, of Harrisville formerly of Mikado died Friday at Tendercare of Alpena. Born Jan,6,1934 in Bad Axe to Enos H. and Ada Elizabeth (Rapson)Wessell, he was a long time Mikado area resident and served in the army durring the Korean Conflict. Survivors include five sisters, Leona Thurtle of Battle Creek,Lanora Gaedtke of Indiana, Florence Britt of Midland, Verna Pratt of Kentucky and Alyne Gould of Royal Oak; 16 nieces aand nephews and 42 great nieces and nephews. Two brothers preceded him in death. Visitation begins at 12 P.M. Friday, March 10, 2006 at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. The funeral will be at 2 P.M. Friday at the Funeral Home.
