Eunice F. Pikl, age 89, of Harrisville passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Jamieson Nursing Home in Harrisville, She was born February 26, 1926 in Harrisville to Ray and Lucille (Campbell) Walker. Eunice was raised in Harrisville and graduated from Harrisville High School. On March 31, 1948 she married Edward Pikl in Escanaba. They moved to Harrisville where they farmed. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star, Lincoln Chapter. Eunice was the first Woman bus driver in the Alcona Community School System, where she drove for 20 years. She is survived by three daughters, Pamela Mayo of Warren MI, Dawn Walton of Prattville, Alabama and Patricia (Ivan) Wagner 0f Oscoda, MI, one son, Lloyd (Mary Ann) of Oscoda, Mi., seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband on August 25, 2003, one grandson, one great granddaughter and two brothers. No services are planned. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Memorial donations suggested to the Alcona Humane Society.
