Laura E. Busch

Laura E. Busch, 92, of Glennie, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Tendercare Tawas City. Born November 4, 1922, to Clyde and Marjorie (Kimberlin) Rickel in Glennie, MI, she was a lifelong resident of the area. On November 11, 1940, she married William Busch. Laura was a member of the Glennie Seventh Day Adventist Church. A devoted homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, canning, and sewing. Laura is survived by three daughters, Christine (Edwin) Curran of Oscoda, Berniece (Roger) Baldwin of Glennie, and Pauline (David) Smith of Texas, one son, Paul (Jeanette) Busch of Glennie, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, two sisters, Marcene (Richard) Busch, and Irene (Victor) Kindell, three brothers, Claude Rickel, Kenneth Rickel, and Wilbur (Christine) Rickel, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 25, 2011, one sister, Olie May Rickel, and two brothers Raymond Rickel and Merle Rickel. There will be a memorial service Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Glennie Seventh Day Adventist Church. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
