Dolph Joseph (Joe) LeClair, age 56, of Black River, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at home. He was born Sept. 3, 1958 in Bay City and raised in Black River, where he was a lifelong resident. Joe was a musician and was associated with many bands. He played the drums and bass guitar. On Dec. 16, 1999 he married Laura Hanner. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Tarra LeClair of Harrisville, one son, Joseph (Katie) LeClair of Alpena; four grandchildren, Callie, Daniel, Serenity and Savanah; three sisters, Betty (Gary) Maclam of Mikado, Eva (Doug) Allyn of Montrose and Marinda Martinez of Oscoda; one step daughter, Tiffany (Danny Wilburn) Apsey of Lincoln; One step brother, Angel (Esther) Martinez of Bay City and many nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Florence (Craner) Martinez, two step sisters and three step brothers. A celebration of Joe's life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
