Minnie M Campbell

Minnie M. Campbell, 91, of Harrisville, went to Heaven Sunday, July 5, 2015 at her home. Born June 27, 1924 to Malcolm and Pauline (Lass) Carnahan in Farmington Hills, MI, she was raised there and in Harrisville. She worked as a farmer until 1968, when she began watching children in her Harrisville home. Minnie was a member of Solid Rock Church of God in Harrisville, and enjoyed crochet. She loved baking, especially cookies and breads, which she often gave away. She was a very kind, loving, and compassionate woman, whose generosity will be sorely missed. She is survived by four children, Murray (Linda) Campbell of Harrisville, Mark Campbell of Harrisville, Sara Gerber of Omaha NE, and Mira (Jerry) Gadwa of Bellflower IL, 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, three sisters, Elaine Carnahan of Lincoln, Mabel Potts of Lincoln, and Linda Ramin of Lansing, one brother, Bill Carnahan of Owosso, MI, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Campbell in 1988, her granddaughter, Kimberly, and 13 brothers and sisters. There will be a memorial service Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Solid Rock Church of God in Harrisville at 1:00 P.M.. Rev. Edward Morrison will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Joy Cemetery, Haynes Township, MI. Memorial donations are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
