Frances Elsie Thompson

Frances Elsie Thompson, 87, of Mikado, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Lincoln Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. Born December 1, 1921, to Albert and Elsa (Deering) Schulz in Detroit, she was raised there. She was married to Robert Thompson, and he preceded her in death. In 1989, Fran moved to Mikado to be closer to her daughter. She was devoted to her family, and loved her grandchildren dearly. She is survived by her daughter, Sharyn (Barry) LaFave, three grandsons; Lance (Janet) Fouchey, Monte (Doreen) Fouchey, and Chad Fouchey, and four great grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 31, 2009, at Gillies Funeral Home, Harrisville from 2 until 6 pm.
