Marjorie F. Cordes

Marjorie F. Cordes, 48, of Ossineke, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Born July 21, 1966 to William and Marjorie (Jones) Bevens, in Alpena, she was a life long resident of the area, spending most of her life in Barton City. She loved the out of doors, especially fishing, and spending time on the lake. She was a member of the Ossineke Eagles Club. She is survived by three sons, Carl (Kayla Wixon) Cordes of Barton City, Dan (Brandy) Cordes of Ossineke, and Michael Cordes of Barton City, one granddaughter, Jaylin Cordes of Ossineke, two sisters, Violet Barnes and Beverly Bevens, and three brothers, William, James, and Alfred Bevens. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen and Margaret Bevens. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln. Private services have been held.
