Doris W. Franklin

Doris W. Franklin, 92, of Columbiaville died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the Ferguson Convalescent Home in Lapeer. She was born on July 6, 1916 in Malita, Michigan to Fred and Elizabeth (Burghon) Stalker. Doris moved to Greenbush in 1952 from the Flint area. She was a former member of the Greenbush Chamber of Commerce and a former member of The Westminster Presbyterian Church of Harrisville. Her husband Angus preceded her in death in 1952. In 1994 she moved to Columbiaville. Doris was also preceded in death by her son Richard Torok in 1999. She is survived by her step daughter, Barbara (Albert) Jenkins of St. Helens and her 4 grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln. Arrangements are being made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
