Illa June Milligan

Illa Milligan, 82 of Lincoln died Monday, December 15, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital in Saginaw. She was born on July 16, 1926 in Flint to Robert and Agnes (Miller) Hough. Illa was raised in Flint and married Robert Jack Milligan on March 15, 1948. A resident of Lincoln, Illa worked as a custodian at the Lincoln Elementary and Alcona High School. She was a librarian at the Alcona Library Lincoln branch for 37 years. She was active in the 4-H for many years and enjoyed bingo, bowling, gardening, crafts and chatting on the internet with her friends. Illa was preceded in death by her brother Harold Hough. She is survived by her husband Robert; her daughter Donna Jean Belt of Harrisville; her son Robert J. Milligan of Harrisville; a brother John (Carol) Hough of Denton, North Carolina; 2 grandchildren Kirk D. Belt and Karen (Paul) Bila; 2 great grandchildren Ashley and Natalie Bila and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 20, 2008. Rev. Richard Karsen, Sr. will officiate.
