Colleen P. Carpenter,81,of Oscoda died Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital. She was born July 8, 1924 in Canton Ohio. and married Ralph Carpenter on Dec.24, 1940. Survivors include her husband Thomas C. Brooks, two daughters, Joyce Lynch of Greenbush and Elaine(Lee)Ping of Illinois; two sons, Iann(Linda)of Hubbard Lake and Larry of Holland,28 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ralph,her daughter, Diane Williams and her son Ralph.
