Leslie "Pat" Patrick Reames Jr.

Leslie Patrick “Pat” Reames Jr., 50, of Mikado, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Born January 7, 1965 to Leslie Patrick and Judy (Tait) Reames in Wayne, he was a lifelong resident of Mikado. On September 1, 1984, he married Debra Compton. Pat owned and operated Reames Masonry, and was a member of the Bricklayers Union of Traverse City for over 20 years. He was the commander of the Sons of the American Legion, Mikado Post #254. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved feeding his kids, and helping anyone he could. He is survived by his wife Debbie, three children, Jessica (Jesse) Smith, Adrian (Chris) Reames, and Anthony (Missy) Reames all of Mikado, four grandchildren, Alex, Jacob, Carter, and Abbey, five step grandchildren, William, Josh, Ryan, Trent, and Brandon, his parents Pat Sr. and Judy Reames, one sister, Yvonne (Carl) Reames-Pierce of Mikado, and dear friends Norm Thomas of Mikado, and Rod Budreau of Spruce, as well as a large extended family, his dear canine pals Daisy and Tanner, and feline friend Mr. D. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann McDonald. There will be a memorial service Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the American Legion Post #254 in Mikado. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
