Dale J. Sharboneau, 73, of Lincoln, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014 at his home. Born August 28, 1941 to John and Helen (Pinder) Sharboneau in Utica, MI, he was raised in Lincoln. On November 23, 1963, he married Karen Rang in Washington, MI, where they resided until moving to Lincoln in 1969. Dale was a member of Haynes Community Church. He served as a chaplain for the Christian Motorcycle Association, and did prison ministry for 20 years. Dale has spent the last 46 years in a wheelchair, but that did not stop him from being an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Karen, daughter, Rose (Kenneth) DeCook, son, Don (Lucy) Sharboneau of Lincoln, three grandchildren, John, Karen, and David Sharboneau, three sisters, Bertha Marshall of Texas, Dorothy Robere of Texas, and Delores Schlicker of Lincoln, and one brother, Keith (Darlene) Sharboneau of Lachine. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Armstrong. Mr. Sharboneau is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln where friends may call on Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be Monday, December 1, 2014 at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Claire Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery.
