David A. McGregor

David Arnold McGregor,64, of Corunna died Sunday October 19 2014 in Spruce. He was born July 11, 1950 in Warren, Mi to Arnold and Clara (Beaushaw) McGregor. David was raised in Barton City and graduated from Alcona High School in 1968. He served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. He was a resident of Flint, later moving to Corunna. He graduated from Central Michigan University and was employed by general motors in skilled trades for over 30 years. David married Jeannie Emmett in 1994. He was an avid deer hunter, both rifle and bow, and enjoyed duck hunting. He was a biker and had restored several vintage bikes and cars and he had remolded several houses. He is survived by his wife, his mother, Clara Crandall of Corinth MS, his grandchildren, Sean and Sarah, his sister, Diane Shea of Eads TN, and his Niece, Nora Lynn Moreland of Rienzi MS.. Funeral services were held, Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. His ashes will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
