Lucille A. Park, 87, of Lincoln, Michigan, passed away on January 9, 2006, in Ann Arbor, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 10, 1918 to George and Lillian Brown in Long Rapids, Michigan. On December 22, 1939, she married Bliss Park, and they resided in Midland, Lachine, and Alpena before moving to Lincoln in 1950. Lucille is survived by a son, Bruce (Judy) of Chelsea, MI, a daughter, Judy of Lansing MI, two grandchildren; Mike (fiancé Sheryl) of Chelsea MI, and Lisa (Derrick) Dabbs of Jackson MS, one sister Beatrice Park of Hillman, and very special friends Ray and Delores Chase of Lincoln, along with many cousins, nieces ands nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother Jackson Brown of Alpena, and a sister Mary Lou Hodgins of Long Lake. Lucille enjoyed flower gardening, baking cookies, bird watching, reading, and her cat Nosey. Visitation will be at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln on Thursday, January 12, 2006 from 2-4 PM and from 6-8 PM. The funeral will be on Friday, January 13, 2006, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Twin Lakes Cemetery in the Spring. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Arbor Hospice Foundation 2366 Oak Valley Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48103, the organization that provided care and comfort in Lucille’s final days, or to the Alcona Historical Society to which she frequently contributed.
