Mae M.(Steiner) Cadieux,94, of Black River Mi died Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in Alpena. Born April 21, 1914 in Bellaire MI to Abraham and Marie (Wildeison) Steiner in Flint, she married Paul Cadieux there on Nov. 13, 1937. They were residents of Flint moving to Black River in 1971. Mae was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Black River, and its Altar Society. A devoted homemaker and wife she took special care of her family. She is survived by three sons, Donald (June) Cadieux of Flint, Leon Cadieux of Grand Blanc and James Cadieux of Alpena. Eight Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren also survive as do several nieces and nephews. Her husband Paul preceded her in death on July 18, 2002. Five brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death. Visitation will be Thursday from 7-9 and Friday from 2-5 at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Visitation continues on Saturday from 10 A.M. until the Mass at 11 A.M. At St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Black River. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Black River.
