Gerald Lee, 93, of Waterford, formerly of Mikado, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 in Waterford. Born February 25, 1921, to Harry and Gertrude (McGillis) Lee in Mikado, he was raised there. On December 14, 1946, he married Erma Nedo in Lincoln, and they were residents of Mikado until 1965 when they moved to Pontiac. Gerald worked as a carpenter, and enjoyed the out of doors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved a good garage sale. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (Dan) Wyse of Waterford, son, Mike (Denise) Lee of Mikado, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, sister, Verna Kuenzli of Alpena, two brothers, Alvie (Edith) Lee and Harold Lee of Tawas City, two sisters-in-law, Verna Nedo of Oscoda, and Sally Nedo and brother-in-law Howard Nedo of Pinconning. He was preceded in death by his wife on March 12, 2003, and his brother, Van Lee. Mr. Lee is at Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln, where friends may call on Monday, from 5 until 8 P.M. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mikado Cemetery.
