Eleanor Lucille Campbell

Eleanor Lucille Campbell, 79, of Ossineke, MI, formerly of Columbiaville, passed away Saturday September 27, 2008 at her home. She was born to Norman and Helen (Daniels) Alexander on October 13, 1928 in Burton Township, MI. She lived many years there and on January 9, 1945 she married Basil Lee Campbell in Flint. In 1981 they moved to the Ossineke area. They were married 57 years, with him preceding her in death March 8, 2002. Mrs. Campbell’s many hobbies included fishing, hunting, knitting and crocheting. Survivors include two daughters, Christine (Michael) Abbott-Soliz of Ossineke, and Ruth (Bernard) Goretski of Glennie, her son Michael (Judith) Campbell of Beloit, WI; ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Wednesday October 1, 2008 at Gillies Funeral Home Lincoln from 11:00A.M. until the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of Michigan.
