Sharon McCann

Sharon E. McCann, 76, of Greenbush, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. She was born September 11, 1937 in Detroit to Karl and Jean (McRae) Kunow. Raised in Detroit, Sharon graduated from high school at Alma College of St. Thomas, Ontario. She married George McCann on August 8, 1959. They were residents of Garden City for 21years; retiring to Arizona in 1980.Mr. McCann preceded her in death in 1988. In 1991 she moved with her mother to her daughter’s home in California, and in 2006 she moved to Greenbush, where she had summered for many years. Mrs. McCann is survived by her daughter, Janene Ann Lacey of Chula Vista, CA, and her son Jeffrey J. (Judith) McCann of Hanover, MI. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014, at 11:00 AM. , Gillies Funeral Home, Harrisville, MI, with Rev. Margaret Fox officiating.
