Maude June Forsythe

Maude June Forsythe, 84, of Harrisville, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008 surrounded by family and friends. Born on September 18, 1923, to Milton and Dell (Truba) Somers, in Hawes Township, she has been a life long resident of the area. On April 15, 1941, she married Frederick Forsythe. Maude was an excellent cook, and worked for many years as a cook for the Harrisville School. She was an avid bingo player, and rarely missed a game. She enjoyed playing the game, and socializing with her many friends there. Maude was a music fan, especially Polka Music, she would dance a polka with anyone who was willing. Maude is survived by three daughters; Mary Jane (James) Senical of Harrisville, Sally Jean (James) Smith of Harrisville, and Judith Anne (Curtis) Gerow of Hubbard Lake, one son; Daniel Forsythe of Burton, 5 grandchildren; Tracy (Tom) Lamson, Dawn (Dave) Grathoff, Jamie (Randy) Pagels, Kelly (Steven) Sundeen, and Curt (Misty) Gerow Jr., 13 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, on May 26, 1998, one great grandcihld, 6 sisters, and three brothers. Private Family Services will be held.
