Terry Lee DeRosia, age 62, of Harrisville, died Monday, April 28, 2014 at home. He was born July 14, 1951 to Leonard and Beatrice (Miller) DeRosia in Rogers City. Terry married Anne Lorraine Joiner on November 6, 1970 in Bay City. They were residents of Bay City moving to Harrisville in 1979. He worked for GM for four years and was regional coordinator for the Michigan Department of Health #4 after moving to Harrisville. He worked for the Alcona EMS where he served as a teacher. Terry was also a teacher at the Greenbush Christian Academy. He was preceded in death by his wife February 14, 2009. He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth (Brian) Baker of Mikado and Jennifer Kozlow of Harrisville, one son, Christopher (Cate) of Grand Rapids, five grandchildren, Sophia and Ema DeRosia, Miranda Baker and Abigail and Lily Kozlow, one sister, Pam Fournier of Bay City and two brothers, Michael DeRosia of Oscoda and Troy (Tammy) DeRosia of Bay City and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Rev. Ken Marsh and Rev. Alan Kozlow will officiate. His family will receive visitors beginning at 10:00 A.M. Memorial donations suggested to Hospice of Michigan.
