James L. Bowers

James L. Bowers, 68, of Lincoln passed away January 29, 2014 at the Lincoln Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. He was born October 16, 1945 to Forest E. and Alice (Alcorn) Bowers in Lincoln where he was a lifelong resident. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Linda on June 12, 1999, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lincoln. He was a long time employee of the Lost Lake Woods Golf Course. He is survived by two sisters, June Dorr of Lincoln, Betty Anderson of Lincoln, two brothers, Forest J. Bowers of Lincoln and Henry J. Bowers of Traverse City and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mr. Bowers will be Saturday, May 10, 2014, 11:00AM, at the Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln.
