Dawn A. Hedum

Dawn A. Hedum, age 66, of Mikado, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at home.She was born March 13, 1948 in Mikado to Charles and Alice(McGuire) Harmon.A lifelong Mikado resident, she was employed as a factory worker in Harrisville, then worked at a pallet mill in Barton City and most recently worked as a housekeeper at Lake Wood Shores in Oscoda.Dawn married Elwood Hedum on January 15, 1996.She was a member of the auxiliary to The Ossineke Eagles, Aerie 3762. She is survived by her husband, Elwood, two daughters, Kimberly (Jerry) Edwards of Prescott and Jennifer Lee of Alpena, one son, Jeremy Lee of Mikado, her mother Alice Harmon of Lincoln, two granddaughters, Mikela and Brittany Foster, one grandson Avory Lee and two brothers, Charles (Mary) Harmon of Mikado and Warren (Teresa) Harmon of Ft. Gratiot.Dawn was preceded in death by her father in 1998, a brother, Walter Harmon in 1998 and a granddaughter, Amanda Lee.Mrs. Hedum is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln where visitation will be Wednesday from 7 until 9 P.M..   To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Dawn A.
