Rosemary T. Morrison

Rosemary T. Morrison, 75, of Harrisville, MI, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at her home. Born May 31, 1938 to Joseph and Elizabeth (Johnson) Chile in Harrisburg, PA, she was raised there and in Traverse City. On January 11, 1969, she married Rev. Edward Morrison. They were longtime residents of Flint, where Rosemary was a member and Sunday School teacher at Genesee Road Church of God. She was a teacher’s aide for the Flint Community Schools. They moved to Harrisville in 2007. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Shannon (Robert) Rynca of Flint, three grandchildren, Robert “Rocky”, Alyssa, and Kirsten Rynca, and three brothers, Samuel (Mitzi) Chile of Elk Rapids, Joseph (Lorna) Chile of Williamsburg, and Gerald Chile of Traverse City. Visitation will be at Solid Rock Church of God, Harrisville, Thursday, February 20, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 21, at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Visitation will be at Genesee Road Church of God on Friday, February 21, from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 22, at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Bishop Bruce Badder will officiate both services. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park. Arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, MI.
