Laura M. Kuenzli, 75, of Lincoln, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Born September 6, 1938 to Charles and Jennie (Reynolds) Huffman in Clark Lake, MI, she has been a resident of Lincoln most of her life. On October 9, 1954, she married Howard Kuenzli. Howard and Laura worked at the B&M Market in Lincoln, and purchased the store in 1980. They operated the market until retiring in 1995. Laura was a member of the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Lincoln. She is survived by her husband Howard, two daughters, Margie Kuenzli of Silver Spring MD, and Marilyn (James) Wissmiller of Lincoln, four grandchildren, Marcie (Joseph) Storey, Jodie Wissmiller, James Miltner, and Sheldon (Lisa) Kranendonk, four great grandchildren, Brooklyn, James, and Levi Storey, and Lucy Kranendonk, two sisters, Beatrice (Dick) George and Katharine Litz of Lincoln, and one brother, Walter (Norma) Huffman of Albion MI. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Norma Sanborn, Marilyn Elmore, and Elinor Maj, and one brother Charles Huffman. A memorial service was held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Arrangements for Mrs. Kuenzli’s cremation were made through Gillies Funeral Home in Lincoln.
