Sandra K. Zuchowski

Sandra K. Zuchowski, 71, of Hubbard Lake, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Sandra was born August 20, 1942 in Dickson, Tennessee to Stanley and Lucy (Luther) Work. On September 16, 1961, she married Alexander Zuchowski in Hazel Park. They were residents of Hazel Park and Warren before moving to Spruce in 1990. She was a member of the Ossineke Eagles Aerie #3762 Ladies Auxiliary. Sandy was an excellent cook, who loved to get her family together for meals and BBQ parties. She also enjoyed crochet, making slippers and hats for all of her family members. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Rob) Grein of White Bluff TN, two sons; Terry (Kristina) of Spruce and Parry (Christel) Zuchowski of Hubbard Lake, daughter-in-law, Cindy Zuchowski of Ossineke, eight grandchildren, Ryann, Jordan, Megan, Emily, Logan and Hailey Zuchowski, and Blake and Chase Goodin, one brother, Don Work of Royal Oak, sister-in-law, Mamie Work of Burns TN, and brother-in-law, Mitch Liczko of Linden, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Zuchowski on February 20, 2010, her son, Alexander Zuchowski Jr. in 1999, her brother, Robert Work, and sister-in-law, Camille Liczko. There will be a memorial service Friday, January 31, at the Community of Christ Church, 126 Clinton Ave, Alpena, at 3:00 PM. Rev. Richard Karsen Sr. will officiate.
