Thomas M. McGregor

Thomas M. McGregor, 59, of Detroit, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at St. John’s Hospital in Detroit. Born November 9, 1954 to Hector and Lois (Morrison) McGregor in Detroit, he was raised there and in Kansas City, MO. In 1994, he returned to Detroit, where he worked in electrical repairs. Thomas was known as a “handyman”, and enjoyed taking things apart just to put them back together. He also enjoyed flea markets and garage sales. He is survived by his sister, Martha (Ernest Joseph) Lair of Florence SC, one niece, and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents Hector and Lois McGregor. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Barton City. Arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
