Harold “Huck” Pheister, 87, of Lincoln passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at home. He was born December 15, 1925 in Columbus Ohio to Glenn and Sadie (Klamforth) Pheister. Huck was raised in Killmaster and graduated from Oscoda High School. He served in the US navy in WWII and married Jenny Mecoli on September 24, 1949 in Berkley MI. They were longtime Berkley residents, moving to Lincoln in 1971. He was a longtime Ironworker before retiring. He was a member of the Alcona Lodge 292 Free and Accepted Masons and the Alpena Shrine. Huck was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting fishing and bowling. He supported Alcona High School athletics. He is survived by his wife Jenny, his daughter, Lori (Joe) Achtabowski of Lincoln, his son Tom (Vickie) of Milwaukee, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and his daughter in law, Lani Gilbert of California. He was preceded in death by his son Gary and two sisters and four brothers. His family will receive visitors on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. until the Masonic Memorial service at 11:00 A.M... at Gillies Funeral Home. Lincoln.
