Edward Olsen Vanier

Edward Olsen Vanier, 49, of Harrisville, passed away Thursday, July 25,2013 at the Hospice By the Sea in Boca Raton Florida. Edward was born October 16, 1963 in Royal Oak and raised in Mikado. He spent time in Lincoln and Alpena before moving to Florida in 2008. He is survived his son, Edward of Tennessee, his father, Robert (Pinky) Vanier of Harrisville, Three sisters, Clare (Pat) Gorski of Alpena, Renee (Rodney) Desormeau of Pickford and Joy Peterson of Harrisville, five brothers, Michael Joseph (Haddy) Vanier of Walled Lake, Timothy (Patty) Vanier of Sheridan, Montana, Robert(Gail) Vanier of Gaylord, Chris Vanier of Cheboygan and Paul (Rochelle) Vanier of Olympia, Washington and several nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Vanier on April 18, 2005, his sister Celeste Vanier on November 11, 2000 and his brother Mike Peterson on August 18, 2003. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013, 11:00 A.M. at the Mikado Cemetery in Mikado. Local arrangements are being made through Gillies Funeral Home. Lincoln.
