Luckie D. Moskwa, 77 of Lincoln, passed away Friday April 18, 2008 at home. Born on July 16, 1929 to Richard and Ann (Patrick) Beecham in Detroit, she was raised there. On June 9, 1952, she married Edward Moskwa. They were residents of Clawson, Michigan, where Luckie was very active with the Guardian Angels Church, and in its Altar Society. They moved to Lincoln in 1984. Edward preceded her in death on March 3, 1999. Luckie was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville, and was very involved in its Altar Society. She was also a member of the Ossineke Eagles. She enjoyed playing cards, and loved casinos. She made the best cakes, and was a very talented cake decorator. She is survived by her daughter Suzanne (Gerald) Cantrell of Madison Heights, 3 sons, Edward “Butch” (Diana) Moskwa of Clawson, Richard (Debra) Moskwa of Hazel Park and Larry (Barbara) Moskwa of South Lyon, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and by her sister, Patsy (Dorris) Rainey of Tennessee. Mrs. Moskwa is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 2 until 8 pm, with a Parish Prayer Service at 7 pm. Prayers said at Funeral Home, Monday, April 21, 2008, 10:15 am, Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Harrisville, Michigan. Burial will be in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
