Robert N. Hart Sr.

Robert N. Hart Sr., 77, of Harrisville, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at his home. Born March 29, 1936 to Harry and Evelyn (Pelton) Hart in West Branch, MI, he was raised in Turner. On February 10, 1962, he married Janice Brooks in Oscoda. They were residents of Dryden, MI. Bob was worked for General Motors on the assembly line, and retired after 37 years as a construction worker for the Local #324 in Taylor. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a lifetime member of the Ossineke Eagles Aerie #3762. He volunteered for the Mikado Goodfellows and was a member of Mikado Area Development for 31 years. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Mikado. He is survived by eight children, John Colberg; Catherine (Gerald) Thayer; Angelina Hart-Bishop; Timothy (Darlene) Hart; Duane Hart; Lyle (Crystal) Hart; Jared (Rhonda) Hart; and Jessica (Tim) Kilgore, 39 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, two sisters; Harriet (Gary) Moody, and Joyce (Mike) Bulich, one brother, Lloyd (Cheryl) Hart, one daughter-in-law, Cheryl (Tim) Colberg, four sisters-in-law, Pat Hart; Marion Hart; Debra Rifenbark; and Dolores Brooks, two brothers-in-law, Brian Schemanski and Jimmie Bean, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice on November 15, 2010, his son, Robert N. Hart Jr. on February 21, 2005, three sisters, Geraldine Hart; Deanna Schemanski; and Delores Bean, and four brothers, Harvey; Paul; Jerry; and Marvin Hart. Mr. Hart is at Gilles Funeral Home where visitation will be on Tuesday, July 2, from 12:00 until the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Char McGuire will officiate.
