Maxine F. Schram, 84, of Ft. Wayne Indiana, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 at home. Maxine was born January 17, 1929 to William and Veronica (Hutchins) Gould in Flint, Michigan. On June 19, 1948, she married Earl Edward Schram Jr. in Flint. They were residents of Spencerville, Indiana. Maxine was a homemaker and loved to volunteer at the Dekalb County Hospital in Auburn Indiana, and was a Girl Scout Leader for 20 years. Her hobbies include reading, playing cards, crafts, and knitting. She loved baking, especially homemade bread and cinnamon rolls. She enjoyed helping her husband coach baseball, and keeping score for the team. Maxine’s passion was spending time with her family. Surviving are her children Myron Schram of Albion, IN; Bonnie Ranger of Fort Wayne, IN; Brenda (Peter) Wesley of Morrison, TN; Leon (Denise) Schram of Tewksbury, MA; ; grandchildren, Maria Schram of Tewksbury, MA; Jason (Jill) Ranger of St. Joe, IN; Renee (Rob) Gaynor of Cherterfield, MI; Veronica (John) Bingham of Fishers, IN; Sandy (Steve) Shinault of Japan. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 25, 1995. Mrs. Schram is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln where visitation will be on Thursday from 2 until 8 PM. Visitation will continue Friday at 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Twin Lakes Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorials suggested to Cancer Services of NE Indina.
