Edmund Ploucha

Edmund Ploucha, 89, of Black River died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Lincoln Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community in Lincoln. Edmund was born December 24, 1923 in Montrose Michigan to John and Helen (Kopzyk) Ploucha. He has been an area resident since 1935. He was former member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Harrisville. A farmer and well driller, Edmund liked to sell Christmas trees and hunt. He is survived by his brother, Chester Szuber of Berkley, Michigan and 12 nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Ted Ploucha and Leonard Szuber preceded him in death. A memorial service for Edmund will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, 11:00 A.M., Rev. Fr.
