Dorothy Elizabeth Lee, 90, of Houghton Lake, went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2013. She was born on November 26, 1922 in Mikado to Richard and Donna Procunier. Dorothy was raised in Mikado and married Kenneth W. Lee on June 25, 1946. They lived in Tawas City from 1946 until 1968 when they moved to Houghton Lake. She was a member of the Markey Baptist Church, Houghton Lake. Her husband preceded her on death on November 18, 1995. She is survived by one daughter, Judy (Nelson) Antinori of Bay Shore, New York, two sons, Gary (Carol) Lee of Tawas City and Dennis (Valli Smith) Lee of Houghton Lake, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Six sisters, Gertrude Nedo, Olive Emerson, Eva Shaw, Bertha Forsythe, Lela Travis, and Carrie Travis and five brothers, Chesley, Desmus, Peter, Frederick and Charles Procunier preceded her in death. Mrs. Lee is at Gillies Funeral Home where visitation will be Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 6 until 8 P.M. And on Friday from 10 A.M. until the funeral at 11:00 A.M.. Rev. Dr. James Kent will officiate. Burial will be in Mikado Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice Advantage or Markey Baptist Church, Houghton Lake.
