Arline M. Smith

Arline Margaret Smith, 74, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at home. She was born on March 3, 1934 in Fraser Township, Michigan to John W. and Florence (Welch) Bonnau. Arline was a resident of Alcona County for 30 years. As a homemaker she taught her children how to cook and fix cars. She also enjoyed crafts, especially crochet. Survivors include four daughters Elizabeth Joy (Kenneth Lee) Smith, Michelle Marie (Jack) Nichols, Kathy Jo Martin and Lisa Lynn Tinsley; seven sons Robert Elmer, Jeffery Allen (Dawn), Edward Ford (Pauline), Gregory Dean and, Brian C. Smith, Philip John (Denise) and David William Ouillette; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; two brothers Ivan and John Bonnau and many nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law Hank Brinkman. Her sister, Josephine Brinkman preceded her in death. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
