Eleanor V. Holtzman

Eleanor V. Holtzman, 90, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday March 20, 2008. Born Eleanor Rieske, on May 3, 1917, in Detroit, she was raised there. Eleanor was married to George Holtzman. They were longtime Detroit residents. She was an auto factory worker, later working for Kmart in housekeeping. George preceded her in death on Oct.10, 1966. Eleanor retired in 1983, moving to Waterford and in 2002 moving to Lincoln. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Paul) Kimushyn of Melbourne FL, two sons, Edward (Debby) Holtzman of Barton City, and George (Jan) Holtzman of Redford, six grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Barton City, from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 2:00pm, Rev. Laraine Sundin officiating.
