Beverly Jean Phillips

Beverly Jean Phillips, 81, of Oscoda, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at her home. Born January 24, 1932, to Lloyd and Leafa (Fuller) Lippert in Alma, MI, she was raised there. On January 17, 1953, she married Vincent G. Phillips in Angola, Indiana. They were residents of Mt. Pleasant until moving to the Detroit area in 1958. Beverly was a devoted homemaker. They retired to Greenbush in 1986, and moved to Oscoda in 2000. Beverly loved to crochet, and enjoyed gardening in her flower beds. She liked walking, golfing, and bowling. Beverly is survived by her husband Vincent, one daughter, Sheila Phillips of Lincoln, one granddaughter, Rebekka (Donald) Kennedy of Lincoln, one great granddaughter, Zoey Arcand, three step grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Henry Arcand on February 24, 2012, six sisters, and three brothers. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
