Dian K. Petzel

Dian K. Petzel, 63, Mikado, died Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Bortz Healthcare of Rose City. She was born on March 16, 1942 in Romulus, MI, to John and Reta (Wojciechowski) Sayan, and moved to Mikado when she was 12. On November 12, 1968, she married Ernest Petzel in Harrisville. Dian was employed by Rolled Products for 12 years, and was a member of the Auxiliary to the American Legion Post 274, Oscoda. She was an active volunteer, dedicating her time to Veterans. Survivors include her husband Ernest and two sisters, Pearl Rogers of Mikado and Linda Blasko of Warren, Nieces and Nephews and a great niece and a great nephew and one great great nephew. She was preceded in death by a brother, John, in 1968. Funeral services were held on Monday, September 26 with Rev. Lawrence Boks officiating. Burial was in Mikado Cemetery.
