Carol M. Downing

Carol M. Downing, 77, of Lincoln died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008 at home. Carol was born September 12, 1930 in Indiana to Carl and Flossie(Galbreath)Downing she was raised in Indiana and Curran, moving to Lincoln in 1947. Carol was a cook at Muehlbeck’s of Harrisville for 46 years and was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert. She is survived by two sisters, Betty Wilson of Monticello Fl and Mary Ross of Lincoln, four nephews, two nieces, one great niece and nine great nephews. Friends may call Sunday from 4- 8 P.M. at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. There will be a rosary at the funeral home Sunday at 7 P.M..Funeral mass will be Monday,11:00 A.M. at St. Anne Catholic Church, Harrisville with Rev. Peter Eke officiating.
