Scott Alan Harris

Scott Alan Harris, 56, of Harrisville, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Alpena Regional Medical Center. He was born October 7, 1956 in Flint to Ronald and Yvonne (De Serres) Harris. Raised in Fenton and Grand Blanc, he was in the United States Air Force for 15 years, where he served at Wurtsmith A.F.B., Dessert Storm in the Middle East and Griffiss A.F.B. NY, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. Later he worked in Alpena for The Besser Corp and in Oscoda on radar related systems. He enjoyed photography, fishing, and making fishing lures and jewelry. Scott is survived by his parents, one sister Cynthia (Ted),one brother Christopher (Marianne), one niece Katie, three nephews, Tim, Gabe, and Greg, one great niece Sophie and two great nephews, Kenny and Sammy, Aunts Elaine, Darlene, and Martha and Uncles Mark and Jim and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, one aunt, Beverly, and one nephew, Gavin. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at the First Congregational Church, St. Johns Michigan.
