Helen M. Lindke, 67, of Harrisville passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at home. She was born April 12, 1945 to Thomas and Teresa (Poland) McDonald in Nelson, New Zealand. She was raised in New Zeeland later moving to Australia. Helen was a citizen of New Zealand, worked for the Australian Department of Defense as a switch board operator, and later moved to Altus Ok where she married Charles Lindke on September 14, 1980. They were residents of Altus before moving to New Zeeland and then moving to Harrisville in 1996. She is survived by her husband; Charles, one daughter; Maria Barnes of Atlanta, GA, two step sons; Robert Lindke, of Fort Worth, TX and Jeffrey Lindke of South Bend, IN, three sisters; Moira (Kasper) Butler of New Plymouth, New Zealand, Jennifer Carroll of Rotorua, New Zealand and Kathryn McDonald of Nelson, New Zealand, one brother; Neil (Betty) McDonald of New Plymouth, New Zealand, two Grandchildren; Joshua Barnes and Kathy Thames, five step-grandchildren; Nicholas Lindke, Corrina Lindke, Amanda Lindke, Brianna Lindke and Elana Lindke. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother; Ian McDonald. Cremation arrangements were handled through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, Michigan.
