Everett Jay (Bud) Antonides 80, of Hubbard Lake died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born July 6, 1927, Bud married Barbara Powell on September 10, 1948. He was a trucker for over 40 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 299. Bud is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, and his daughter Connie (husband Bob) Nelson of Lincoln, his son, Michael (wife Nancy) Antonides of Lapeer, five grandchildren, Kelly (husband Jeff) Sexton, Scott (wife Christina) Nelson, Adam Antonides, Megan Antonides and Kendra Antonides, eight great grandchildren, Alleigh, Brett, Kyle, Kimberley, Aaron, Alexis, Alyess and Antonio, one sister, Everdene Jones of Eddyville KY and one brother, Marvin “Pete” (wife Kathy) Antonides of Fishers IN. He loved fishing, hunting and playing cards and community service. He was a former member of the Shelby Township Lions Club where he served as president and treasurer. He was a member of the Ossineke Eagles Aerie 3762. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. Per his wishes no services will be held.
