Gerald J. Lindsey, 76, of Lincoln passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Tendercare Alpena. Born January 25, 1936, to Jesse and Albina (Olds) Lindsey, in Flint, he was raised there. Gerald served in the US Army. He worked as a paint mixer at Sherwin Williams. On September 23, 1985, he married Patricia Sine, and they were residents of Flint until moving to Lincoln in 1991. Gerald is survivied by his wife; Patricia, three step children; Rev. Jerri Lyn (Gary) Williams of Paris KY, Jean (Edsel) Wright of Melbourne FL, and Joan (Bryan) Wssow of Waxhaw, NC, 8 step grandchildren; Edsel, Jessica, and Jennifer Wright, Steven and Rachel Wssow, and Matthew, Jeffrey, and Greg Williams, and two step great granddaughters, two sisters; Barbara Diemond of Detour, MI, and Delores (Mike) Symons of Flint, one brother; Jim (Linda) Lindsey of Swartz Creek, and his dear friends; Barb and Norman O’Connell of Flushing. Cremation arrangements were made by Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
