William Philip Frantz

William P. Frantz, 79, of Barton City, died October 18, 2007 at Lincoln Haven Health and Rehab Community. He was born May 28, 1928 in Detroit to Gregore and Mildred (Hartman) Frantz and raised in Allen Park. William served in the United States Navy in WWII. On March 21, 1964 he married Barbara A. Deyett. They were residents of Harsens Island, moving to Barton City in 1985. His is survived by his wife, Barbara. He was a Clay Township (Algonac Area) policeman for 22 years, retiring as a Sergeant. He was a member of the Barton City Eagles Aerie 4141, where he served as secretary 15 years. Cremation arrangements were made through Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln.
