Keith R. Danhauser

Keith R. Danhauser, of Lincoln (LLWC) passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Keith was born in Washington Michigan. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as a pilot. Keith married his high school sweetheart, Rhea Norton, and they were longtime residents of Harrison Township. They became members of Lost Lake Woods Club in 1985, and in 1995, made it their home. Rhea preceded him in death on July 26, 2010. He is survived by two daughters; Dianne (Millard) Becker of Fort Gratiot, and Karen Lee (Russell) Schram of Westland, three grandchildren; Dennis (Leira) Mitchell Jr, Michelle (Tim) Mitchell and Rebecca Price, three great grandchildren; Kaila and Devan Boggs and Dennis Mitchell III, and one brother; Gerald (Norma) Danhaser of Suttons Bay, MI. He was preceded in death by his grandson; Richard L. Price, and two brothers; Bud and Herb Danhauser. Mr. Danhauser is at Gillies Funeral Home, Lincoln, where friends may call on Sunday, from 2 until 8 pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday 12:00 Noon at the Sterling Heights United Methodist Church,11333 16 1/2 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, Rev. Bob Kreger officiating. Visitation will begin at the church at 11:00 A.M.. Burial will be in the Utica Cemetery. Donations in Keith’s memory can be made to Hospice of Michigan.
